A Team Leader's Day
New Pricing! Reduced from $595 to $395. DVD Format Only.
Moving to a Self-Directed Work Team process requires role changes for everyone involved, especially the leader. Those transitioning from a supervisor role to a team leader role inevitably struggle. This video remains one of the few existing models for how this transition takes place, using real employees rather than actors. It's one of my favorites, and I've used it many times. The story is an actual day in the life of a 6-month old SDWT at McNeil Consumer Products (manufacturers of Tylenol and related products), and demonstrates how leadership styles change in a team-centered environment.

The video comes with a useful facilitator's guide that highlights the key teaching points and helps you construct an interesting and effective training session. You may view this guide in .pdf format with Adobe Reader software by clicking on this link: View Facilitator's Guide . This will give you additional insights into the usefulness of this video in helping supervisors and frontline workers to understand their roles in a high-performance team environment.
