Empowerment ProfileTM Leader Version Participant Guide 5-Pack

The Leader Version of the Empowerment ProfileTM serves multiple purposes. First it is the primary assessment of the leader of his or her level of empowerment, that is, the extent to which the leader feels empowered at work. The assessment portion contains 40 questions such as...

  1. Do you have a say in how resources are utilized?
  2. Do you have access to the information you need to do your job?
  3. Do you participate in decisions about starting new projects?
  4. Do you have authority to make your own decisions at work?

The 40 questions are answered on a pressure-sensitive Response Form using the possible answers:

  • VG = Very Great Extent
  • G = Great Extent
  • M = Moderate Extent
  • S = Some Extent
  • L = Little Extent
  • VL = Very Little Extent
  • AN = Almost No Extent

Upon completing the questionnaire, participants read the article Empowerment: The Challenge and the Promise, and the eight (8) empowerment dimensions:

  • Control
  • Influence
  • Resources
  • Strengths
  • Involvement
  • Centrality
  • Autonomy
  • Climate

Then the participants create their own profile using data from their Response Form. If they have also have feedback from employees who have filled out the Employee Version Participant Guide, then they will add that information also, creating a complete picture of the level of empowerment within their organization, department, or team.

Finally, the participant will move into Action Planning using targeted questions offered by the Participant Guide.

This is a complete program that will pay dividends in a more flexible, empowered work environment.
