This film has been one of our favorites for years. It was produced originally for Cosma International, an automotive components manufacturer, to help its workforce understand the power and simplicity of quick changeover techniques. However, it was so well done, that it was subsequently released for the general marketplace. The film brilliantly blends clips of racecar pit crews with a Cosma work team attempting to reduce the changeover time of its 800-ton press from 2 hours to 10 minutes. 

The interviews with the racing team members (including racing legends Danny Sullivan and Rick Mears) reveal key concepts in quick changeover. And the interviews with Cosma employees are powerful in demonstrating how teamwork and employee involvement can create breakthroughs in process improvement. Motivational and instructional.
