A fictitious animal rights extremist group known as the World Animal Freedom Front has taken 10 hostages from an experimental laboratory.

Your Team’s Performance
Your team will be scored on its performance in negotiating the release of the hostages. The better the team, the higher it scores, the harder the activists negotiate and the more the team learns. Two-way communication is established via a computer and printer, which acts as a fax. Team members quickly come to believe that the people they are dealing with are real. Deadlines are set and consequences are incurred for missing them, just like in real life. Multiple tasks are demanded of the team. Prioritizing and communication soon become issues, just like in real life. The similarities are endless; the learning points equally so.

LIBERATION is a dynamic new innovation in the world of team development. It is a computer-based simulation that allows a team to interact and negotiate with fictitious activists for the release of hostages. Each team has its own computer loaded with the LIBERATION software, so the training event can accommodate multiple teams simultaneously. As a team enters its information, the computer responds by printing a "fax" from the activists with new demands, information, and consequences. At the conclusion, the team is evaluated electronically by how it handled the negotiation.
See how your teammates work together…learn to appreciate each others’ contribution to the team. Note: This is a serious negotiation simulation that is incredibly realistic, intense, and challenging. Wonderful for those involved in intense negotiations and/or leadership.

How to Purchase LIBERATION
Direct Purchase:
To purchase the program and run sessions "on your own," the minimum "Package Level" status is $2,435.* This permits the use of the software with one (1) team. A team can vary in size from say 4-5 people (challenging) to 8-10 (recommended) or more. Team members will be challenged by dealing with a significant amount of information coming from the activists and multiple decisions needing to be made quickly. For larger sessions with multiple teams, the second and third packages are $1217.50 each.
Optional Trainer Certification – Internal Consultants:
Minimum cost for a "Trainer Certification" status is $3,125. You receive one package* and a 2-day certification in the competent use of the product.
Consultancy Network – External Consultants:
Minimum cost for a "Consultancy Network" status is $3,225 plus an annual license for $295. You receive one package*, a 2-day certification, notification of leads we receive in your area, marketing assistance, and hands-on support in our network.
