The Learning Styles Questionnaire contains 80 statements that pertain to learning preferences. Individuals rate the statements using the following scale:

A = Agree more than disagree
D = Disagree more than agree

The following is a sampling of items linked to each of the 4 learning styles:

Activist
· I often act without considering the possible consequences.
· On balance, I often talk more than I listen.

· I believe that formal procedures and policies restrict people.

Reflector
· I listen to other people’s points of view before putting my own forward.
· I take pride in doing a thorough job.

· I am always interested in finding out what people think.

Theorist
· I have strong beliefs about what is right and wrong, good and bad.
· I tend to be a perfectionist.

· I tend to solve problems using a step-by-step approach.

Pragmatist
· I have a reputation for saying what I think, simply and directly.
· In meetings, I put forward practical, realistic ideas.

· In discussions I like to get straight to the point.
